The Nu-Tec Circulator Test Joint is designed to test the BOP stack to one size down the drill pipe. Testing down the drill pipe gives rigs the ability to test Top Drive, Choke Line and Valves, Kill Line and Valves, all while testing the BOP rams. With the CTJ technical design, communication with the well is not lost during the BOP test. All Nu-Tec CTJ are tested to one and half times the working pressure and is capable of having a working pressure of 15,000 PSI. When a CTJ comes in from offshore Nu-Tec disassembles and washes all parts, has all threads and components inspected by a outside inspection company, replaces all seals, and hydrostatic tests the CTJ.
