Nu-Tec's Test Joints are designed and manufactured in-house. Nu-Tec was the first in the industry to develop a Circulator Test Joint allowing the BOP Test to be performed down the drill pipe and maintain communication with the well. The Circular Test Joint was used to test one size, while the Universal Test Joint gave customers the ability to test the BOP stack to two different sizes in one trip. For unique situations Nu-Tec developed the Stack Specific Test Joint which is designed specifically per rig. There are four different designs including the Stack Specific Test Joint, the Dynamically Positioned Stack Specific Test Joint, the Universal Dynamically Positioned Stack Specific Test Joint and the Stack Specific Circulator Test Joint.
