Procedure for Installing and Using a Single Weco Top Test Sub or Mandrel

Install the Top Test Sub on the drill pipe after setting the test plug in place. Test down the drill pipe through Nu-Tec's "CIRCULATOR" " UNIVERSAL" or "STACK SPECIFIC" BOP TEST JOINTS.

Install a previously tested Safety Valve above the TOP TEST SUB.

Make up the top drive or kelly into the Safety Valve.

Connect the cement pump to the TOP TEST SUB side outlet.

Test the rams, annulars, rotary hose and stand pipe simultaneously.  Download Single Weco Top Test Sub & Mandrel (TTS) Diagram 1 |
