Install the Top Test Sub on the drill pipe after setting the test plug in place. 

Install a previously tested Safety Valve below the TOP TEST SUB and leave open.

Make up the top drive or kelly into the TOP TEST SUB.

Connect the cement pump to the Upper Weco on the TOP TEST SUB.

Leave the Lower Weco on the TOP TEST SUB open.  Test down the Choke or Kill line.  If the test plug leaks the returns will come up the drill pipe and vent out the Lower Weco.  This allows you a leak path so you do not pressure up your casing.

While testing the rams and annulars down the Choke or Kill line, test the Top Drive valves through the Upper Weco of the Top Test Sub simultaneously.
